Anova Metals Limited (ASX:AWV) is a resource exploration and project development company. In November 2012, Anova entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the Big Springs Gold Project. The Project hosts Carlin-type gold deposits and is located in an established gold mining region, 80 km north of Elko in the north east of the state of Nevada, USA. 

In addition to the complex of known deposits, the Project also comprises more than 55 km2 of highly prospective stratigraphy which contains significant, untested, gold‐in‐soil geochemical anomalies as well as a number of geophysical targets. Anova’s strategy is to test and, if feasible, promptly develop the Big Springs Gold Project into a cash flow producing asset, as a platform for future growth through exploration or M&A opportunities. Anova also has an agreement to earn up to a 90% interest in a pegmatite-hosted strategic metal project in Mozambique with significant exploration potential, including for heavy rare earths, lithium and tantalum.
